Ricardo Felgueres is the founder and owner of RF Dogs. Ricardo began training his first dog at 18 years old. At 25, he got his first female German Shepherd, whose breeder encouraged him to show her. Competing German Shepherds introduced him to the Schutzhund, a competitive sport centered on obedience, sniffing, and protection skills. Over the next 15 years, Ricardo bred and trained German Shepherds with the support of top veterinarians, gaining rare access to medical and behavioral expertise at the highest level. Breeding became a defining experience in his career, one built on mentorship, science, and responsibility. Ricardo continues to learn every day through training that helps owners improve their relationships with their dogs. He is certified in professional dog training and behavioral correction, applying methods that prioritize clarity, consistency, structure, and respect for each individual dog.

When a dog joins the RF Dogs, whether for training, daycare, or boarding, they become part of a family environment shaped by experience, routine, and active care. Our spaces are clean, calm, and outdoors, with shaded turf play areas designed for safe social interaction and steady daily rhythm.
