RF Dogs Rescue
Over the years, rescue has become a natural part of what we do at RF Dogs. We take in dogs in need, give them the time, structure and training necessary, and carefully look for the right home.
We believe that successful rescue is not about placing a dog as quickly as possible. It is about understanding the individual dog and finding the home in which they can truly thrive. Every dog we place is evaluated based on their temperament, needs and personality, and we are thoughtful about matching them with a family best suited to them.
Our commitment to our rescue dogs does not end at adoption. We remain a resource for their families throughout the dog’s life, and if circumstances ever change, a dog adopted through RF Dogs will always come back to us.
Support for Newly Adopted Dogs
Bringing a rescue dog home is exciting, but for many dogs, the first few weeks can also be overwhelming. Dogs coming directly from shelters, the street, transport, or other stressful environments often need time to decompress before they are ready to learn what life in their new home will look like.
To support both dogs and their new families, RF Dogs offers special pricing for recently adopted rescue dogs.

Our Let-Down Program is a reduced-rate training stay designed for dogs transitioning directly from stressful environments into a permanent home.
Rather than asking a dog to immediately adjust to a new family, new house, new routine and new expectations all at once, we give them a quiet, structured period to decompress while we begin establishing the foundations that will make their transition home easier.
During their stay, we focus on routine, rest, trust, appropriate socialization, crate training, leash skills and basic household expectations, adapting the program to the individual dog in front of us.
At the end of the stay, we work with the family to help them understand their new dog and continue that structure at home.

We offer special training rates for families who have recently adopted a dog through a recognized rescue or shelter. Our goal is to make professional support accessible during the period when it can make the greatest difference in keeping a dog successfully and permanently in their new home.

Dogs For Adoption
Maha and Horos
Maha and Horos were found on a construction site as strays. Over the time that they have been with us, the two of them have really come out of their shells. They are calm, well behaved, and playful. Maha is an approximately 2 year on Belgian Malinois, and Horos is an approximately one year old Great Dane. They are a bonded pair, and will only be rehomed together. Maha and Horos are house trained, friendly with other dogs and children, and are a very special pair.
